Joining in this amazing trip, you will be taken through the Hin Namno National Protected Area, where you will take a day to discover a cave and another day hiking to a magnificent towering waterfall. Day 1 Thakhek, Pakphanung, Nongping
This morning, after departing from your hotel in Thakhek you will take a 4 hour drive on an unpaved road through an incredible landscape of limestone mountains. Then, you will stop for lunch at the boat landing at Pak Thung.
After having lunch, you will get on a local motor boat for the 2 hour trip passing forested karsts on the Xe Bang Fai River. At about 5pm, you will arrive in the village of Ban Tham Namlort, where you settle into the village lodge.
You can also take some time take a walk to explore the village.

Day 2 Ban Nongping, Xe Bang Fai Cave, Camp Site
After breakfast, at 8 am, you will paddle in your inflatable kayaks steadily upstream through 5 interesting rapids to reach the Xebang Fai Cave. Then, you will paddle into the cave, where you can spend time exploring the cave and admiring the stalactites and stalagmites. After that, you will paddle on through the cave for 11 Km to reach the other side of the cave where you can spend time for a picnic lunch then returning the same way to your camp on the beach at the mouth of the cave.
Approximately: 7 hours kayaking

Day 3 Camp Site, Thakhek
You will get up early enough to enjoy breakfast. At 8 am you will then kayak for 500 meters to a place where a tractor will take you for 1 hour to the starting point of your trek. It will take you a 2-hour trek through an easy old forest filled with a large number of birds to a very large waterfall in the Hin Namno National Protected Area.
You will have a picnic lunch at the waterfall. Then, you will walk back to the trail head where the pick-up will be waiting to take you back to Thakhek.
Approximately: 15 minutes kayaking, 1 hour tractor, 4 hours trekking, 4 hours transfer.
