Day 1 Sa Pa – Tram Ton – Binh Lu – Tam Duong (L, D)
At the departure time, you will be greeted and picked up at your hotel’s lobby in Sapa by a local guide and a driver.
Then, you will be driven uphill to get to Tram Ton. On the way there, you will get off and take a short walk to the beautiful Silver Waterfall, and then the Heaven’s Gate where you can enjoy the most excellent view to the mountain surrounding including Fansipan, the highest peak of Indochina.
From Tram Ton, you will continue driving mostly downhill toward Binh Lu. You will stop and pay a visit to Chu Va village where Black Hmong ethnic minority people are living. You will spend time strolling around the village, observing the daily life activities of the local and taking a break.
You will leave Chu Va village for Binh Lu where you will enjoy a delicious lunch in a local restaurant.
Following lunch and a short rest, you will start the afternoon program by cycling mostly uphill for the rest of the day. You will need a lot of effort and energy for this adventure. During the long ride, you will stop by a village for a short break. After that, there will be a car waiting at a point to drive you to another high pass. Then, you will enjoy an easy ride all the way to Tam Duong.
Once you arrive at Tam Duong, you will check in a hotel for a stay overnight.
Approx: 40 minutes driving/ 5 hours cycling/ 1 hour lunch -
Day 2 Tam Duong – Border – Paso (B, L, D)
After having breakfast in the hotel, you will start the second day tour by cycling out of Tam Duong. You will cycle mostly uphill along scenic tributary of the Na River.
Along the way, you will have the chance to see of places of gold exploitation along the river. In addition, you will pass by many villages of Thai ethnic minority people. You can observe their daily activities and understand more about their customs with the commentary of the local guide.
At the end, you will reach Pa So where you enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.
After lunch and a short rest, you will continue the tour by hopping on the bike for a ride on a flat road toward Sino, the Vietnamese border. You will marvel at the picturesque beauty of the riverside landscape. Don’t forget to keep your camera handy to capture these memorable images.
From Sino, you will drive back to Paso where you will stay in a riverside hotel for overnight. Here, you can also enjoy cups of cold beer on the balcony with romantic view over the river.
Approx: 5 hours cycling/ 1 hour lunch

Day 3 Pa So – Muong Lay (B, L, D)
After having breakfast in the hotel, you will get on the bike to leave Pa So. During this journey, you will have the opportunity to enjoy and be dazzled at the picturesque sceneries of the nature and pay a visit to a village of Thai ethnic minority which is the largest ethnic group in the area.
Leaving the village, you keep riding following the road going along the Na River. The next destination of the tour is Lai Chau. You will arrive there in the early afternoon.
After checking hotel, you will enjoy a late lunch in either the hotel or a local restaurant nearby.
Following lunch and a short rest, you will start the afternoon program by driving to the river. Here, you will embark on a boat for a cruise downstream the Black River.
Along the way, you can make a stop to visit a village inhabited by Thai ethnic minority people and hear about their everyday activities on the riverbank. This friendly atmosphere will definitely make the trip more enjoyable and unforgettable.
In the late afternoon, you will end the cruise and drive back to your hotel.
Approx: 5 hours cycling/ 2 hours boat cruising/ 0,5 hour walking/ 1 hour for lunch -
Day 4 Muong Lay - Dien Bien Phu (B, L, D)
This day tour will be the longest ride of the whole adventure, but taken on a good road which may make your bike tour more relaxing.
After breakfast, you will leave the hotel for Muong Lay village. You will arrive there by noon time.
Upon your arrival there, you will be firstly taken around the village. You may be able to visit a local marker and explore it with the support of the local guide.
Then, you can either have lunch in a local restaurant or enjoy a picnic lunch prepared by the hotel. Please confirm your choice as soon as possible to get it ready by lunchtime.
After lunch and a short rest, you will head to Dien Bien Phu where you continue the ride on a good flat road among beautiful natural landscape. In this busy town, you are still able to enjoy the scenic beauty of mountains and huge rice fields.
You will then check in a hotel for an overnight.
After that, you can spend time walking to s nearby market to explore more the town and spread your legs after a long day of cycling.
Approx: 6 hours cycling/ 1-hour walking/ 1 hour lunch -
Day 5 Dien Bien Phu - City tour (B, L)
After having breakfast, you will enjoy an interesting bike tour around the town to visit some famous historical sites such as Dien Bien Phu Museum, Glory Statue, A1 Hill and De Cattery Tunnel. You will be back to the hotel for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will be driven to the airport for the flight to Ha Noi. The tour ends.
Approx: 2 hours cycling/ 1-hour walking/ 1 hour lunch
