  • Day 1 Phnom Penh - Sihanoukville (-/-/-)

After meeting our Cambodia holiday representative you will leave Phnom Penh and travel to the premier beach resort of Sihanoukville. On the way we will stop off at Cambodia’s oldest National Park, Kirirom. We will drive to the top of Kirirom hill which is 675 meters above sea level. From here you can enjoy the view of the Cardamom Mountains that stretch as far as the eye can see. You may stroll along the mountain paths if you so wish. The pine forest with its many streams and rapids provides the backdrop for a relaxing walk. We will drive on to Kirirom Resort where your Cambodia trip has included lunch for your enjoyment. From there we travel on to Sihanoukville and your time is your own to enjoy the sunset over the Gulf Of Thailand. Your overnight accommodation has again been arranged by your Cambodia trip organizers.

  • Day 2 Sihanoukville Kbal Chhay (B/-/-)

16 km outside the town of Sihanoukville you will discover Kbal Chhay. This is the area’s most famous waterfall. It was only discovered in 1960 and was used as a hideout for Khmer Rouge soldiers. Now a peaceful tourist spot, it also provides clean water for the nearby resort. In the dry season its pools provide a good swimming spot, whilst in the wet season the falls are very impressive. You will spend a restful day here before your Cambodia tour guide returns you to your hotel. Here your time is free before you retire for the night.

  • Day 3 Sihanoukville Ream National Park (B/-/-)

Day 3 begins with breakfast provided by your Cambodian tour organizer. Then we will escort you to Ream National Park, 30 minutes away. The park is home to many of Cambodia’s endangered species. Sun bears, dolphins, macaques, mouse deer and pangolins all live within the park. In addition around a hundred species of birds are also indigenous to the area. The information center here provides a brief guide to the animals living in the park. You will take a short boat trip to see the fascinating mangroves and climb watch towers to enable a tree top view of the birdlife. We will take you on to a beautiful sandy beach where you may enjoy a picnic lunch. Here you can snorkel if you wish, or just relax in the clear waters. You will be given the choice of either staying here for a peaceful afternoon, or traveling on to take a 5 km trek through the forest. Your Cambodia holiday guide will then return you to Sihanoukville for the evening, where your time will be free. The last overnight stay of this Cambodia trip will again be at Sihanoukville.

  • Day 4 Sihanoukville – Kampot – Kep (B/-/-)

Breakfast is at the hotel before we leave to travel to Kampot. This is one of Cambodia’s most attractive towns. The journey takes you through stunning scenery and the Damrei Mountains provide a constant backdrop. You will visit the pepper plantations and see the educational and ecological project that assists in this area. Kampot pepper is acclaimed by international chefs as the finest in the world. During the Reign of The Khmer Rouge all the plantations were abandoned. Now thanks to this initiative they are thriving. Donations here are always extremely well received. You will continue to Kampot itself, where a riverside lunch can be enjoyed overlooking the Kampot River and the mountainous backdrop. We will show you the beautiful French Colonial architecture of this extraordinary town. Next your Cambodia trip continues on to Kep where if time allows we will enjoy a hike up the Sunset Rock to take in the sunset, before retiring for the night.

  • Day 5 Kep – Phnom Penh (B/-/-)

The last day of this Cambodian holiday adventure begins again with breakfast at your hotel. We then take a short cruise over to Koh Tonsay or Rabbit Island. The beaches are superb here and are ideal for relaxing. The crystal clear waters provide plenty of opportunity for swimming and snorkeling. You may enjoy a BBQ lunch and try the delicious, local delicacy of pepper fried crab. In the late afternoon we return you to your hotel to freshen up before the two and a half hour drive to Phnom Penh. On the way we visit a small lake called Tonle Bati. Its most interesting feature is Ta Phrom, a 12th century temple. It was built by King Jayavarman VII. There is plenty to see here before moving on to Phnom Penh. Your Cambodia trip ends here.
