Ti Top Island sits near Bo Hon Island and Sung Sot Cave, making it a convenient and popular stop for day cruises and overnight tours alike. How to get there?

You can only reach Ti Top Island by boat as part of a Halong Bay cruise. Most 4-hour, 6-hour, or overnight cruises include it in their itinerary. Departing from Tuan Chau or Bai Chay Port, you’ll sail through the bay for about 30–45 minutes before docking near the island.

History of Ti Top Island

Ti Top Island was named after the Russian cosmonaut Gherman Titov, who visited the island with President Ho Chi Minh in 1962. To commemorate their friendship and this historic visit, the island was given the name “Ti Top.” Over the years, it has become a symbol of Vietnam–Russia relations and a top attraction for domestic and international travelers alike.
